We're thrilled to announce the appointment of two remarkable individuals to our Board of Directors: Professor Lorna Moxham and Daniel Rowan. Their wealth of experience will further enhance our commitment to providing exceptional care for older people in our regions. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Non-Executive Director Margaret Collins, who retires this month. Margaret's dedication and advocacy have been instrumental in Warrigal's growth and commitment to quality care.

Warrigal is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Non-Executive directors to its Board, further strengthening commitment to providing exceptional care and support to older people in the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and the ACT regions. The new Non-Executive Directors Professor Lorna Moxham and Daniel Rowan, bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will enhance Warrigal’s strategic direction and operational excellence.

Professor Lorna Moxham commenced her tenure on May 27, 2024. With 44 years in nursing, including 42 specialising in mental health, Lorna offers extensive clinical and academic expertise. She is currently a Professor of Mental Health Nursing at the University of Wollongong and has over 175 publications. Her governance experience includes chairing a District Health Council and participating in various ministerial working parties. Her long-standing association with Warrigal and recent involvement in Warrigal’s strategy retreat highlight her commitment and insight.

Daniel Rowan began his term on October 30, 2023. Previously the Managing Director at Internetrix, Daniel’s career encompasses management, mergers and acquisitions, IT, and digital transformation. His governance roles include Board Member for Regional Development Australia – Illawarra and Chairman of the Leadership Illawarra Program. He holds an MBA (Executive) from AGSM, UNSW, and a Bachelor of ICT/Computer Science from UOW.

Warrigal also extends its deepest gratitude to Non-Executive Director Margaret Collins, who retires this month. Margaret has served on the Board since 1997, contributing significantly through her expertise in finance and business. Her roles included participation in the Business Risk, Audit, and Compliance Committee, and chairing the Consumer Advisory Body. Margaret’s dedication and advocacy have been instrumental in Warrigal’s growth and commitment to quality care. Her formal farewell will take place at Warrigal’s AGM in October.
