Warrigal is deeply honoured to have received an official letter from Buckingham Palace on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III in response to our invitation for him to visit Warrigal during his recent royal trip to Australia in October this year.

As a community-focused, not-for-profit aged care provider, Warrigal’s purpose is to create environments where older people can live their best lives, on their own terms. Every day, our dedicated team members work tirelessly to support older Australians, and its incredibly heartening to see this important work acknowledged by His Majesty.

During his visit to Australia, the King’s schedule was filled with engagements spanning research initiatives, charity work, and community events. While His Majesty was unfortunately unable to visit Warrigal on this occasion, we were truly moved by the thoughtful response from Buckingham Palace, which recognised the vital work we do to support older people in our communities.

In the letter, King Charles expressed his thanks for our kind invitation and shared how heartened he was to learn about Warrigal’s contributions as a provider of aged care services. His Majesty’s warm wishes and recognition of our work reflect the enduring importance of creating supportive, respectful, and thriving communities for older Australians.

Should His Majesty return to Australia in the future, we would be delighted to once again extend an invitation to visit Warrigal and see firsthand the inspiring work our team does to support older people.
